Parish Mission at St. Mary’s – Bellevue, NE

As we wrap up the “Guadalupe Season” of parish missions surrounding the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, our final retreat of 2022 is taking place at St. Mary’s Parish in Bellevue, Nebraska.

The event is a three-night experience with the first half as a retreat and reflection based on the written account of St. Juan Diego from 1545, the “Nican Mopohua” and how it relates to us today. The second half each night is focused on the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe herself, explaining everything from the dress, posture, stars, and amoxtli glyphs, to the scientific exploration over the centuries that has served only to verify its miraculous nature.

Relics, maguey fiber cloth, a traditional tilma of the same dimensions of the image, and of course our unique digital prints brought from Mexico will be available.

This event is free of charge (free-will offerings gratefully accepted) and open to the public.

We hope you can join us as we close out 2022 with the history, songs, stories, and miracles of Christ through Our Lady of Guadalupe. More information is available in the image below.

A very blessed Advent and a Merry Christmas to you all!
