I was privileged to receive a one-on-one-on-one presentation of Our Lady of Guadalupe from Scott. Why the additional “on-one”? That will become evident. First, let me say Scott is an extremely knowledgeable and passionate presenter. I had never heard her story in so much detail, coupled with all the symbols contained in the image of Our Lady this made for a truly revelatory experience. Scott not only shares the depth of his knowledge but also his heart. He shares from a place of real relationship with Our Lady, that cherished Mother-Son relationship.

Second, Momma showed up! I had heard stories of miracles with the image: moving eyes, beating hearts, feeling breath and temperature differences. I had an experience of a third presence in the room. As soon as Scott rolled the life size image of Our Lady out onto the table I knew she was there, present with us and telling her story alongside Scott. A story of just that, presence, compassion, love, and conversion. “Am I not here, I, who am your mother?” The Mother of God, there in the room with us, loving each of us in a particular and unique way.

Since this encounter I have wanted more and more of Mary in my life. Exploring her presence and relationship as a son so as to be led to her Son. No matter where you are, Mary meets you there. She comes to her children, loves them, purifies them, and brings them as precious gifts to her Son. I highly encourage anyone interested in deepening their relationship with Jesus to get to know Mary. Guadalupe Missions does this expertly. After all, who would know Christ better or lead us to Him in the way we need than His Momma and ours?
